Registration
Registration for the Summer School is possible as part of the COMMA 2026 Registration .
Please refer to the COMMA 2026 registration page for the full fee table, payment details, and instructions on how to register. When registering, you can select the Summer School (SSA) as an add-on.
SSA Fees
The Summer School registration fees are listed below. The early registration deadline for the SSA Summer School is 15 July 2026; the early registration deadline for co-located workshops is 17 August 2026.

What's Included
- Access to all SSA 2026 courses and tutorials (9–13 September 2026)
- Course materials
- Coffee breaks and lunches during the Summer School days

Accommodation and travel are not included.
Student Grants
A limited number of student grants for participating in the Summer School on Argumentation (SSA) 2026 are available. The grants consist of a waiver of the registration fee for the summer school.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- be currently enrolled students (BSc, MSc, or PhD), and
- lack sufficient funding to cover the registration fee.
Applications should be submitted as a single PDF document (max. 2 pages) and must include:
- A short motivation letter explaining why the applicant wants to attend the school and how it will benefit their research or studies.
- A curriculum vitae (CV).
- A brief letter or statement from the applicant's advisor confirming their student status and the lack of available funding.
If the number of eligible applications exceeds the number of available grants, recipients will be chosen randomly by drawing lots.
